US Springfield 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Cal. 30-40 Carbine Scout Rifle Conversion. This is NOT an original carbine. 22" barrel, sharp rifling, silky smooth action, good wood. Original rear sight has been removed and replaced with a Burris LER 1.5x scope in the “Scout Rifle” configuration. S/N 487xxx, manufactured in 1904, last year of production. Outstanding shooter. Shipping cost has been added into the price. More pictures available on request.
