The new Ruger 10/22 Carbon Fiber is an ultra-lightweight semi-automatic rimfire rifle designed for shooters who want a maneuverable and modern take on the legendary 10/22 platform.

When it comes to truck guns, versatility, reliability, and ease of use are paramount. The PSA JAKL 5.56 Rifle has been hailed by others as an excellent choice for these criteria, and I was eager to put it to the test.

After putting approximately 5,000 rounds through it, between the range and hunts, I can confidently say that this rifle stands out as a budget rifle in both reliability and performance.

Every X-Bolt rifle I have tested over the years was superbly accurate. Rifles in non-magnum chamberings consistently shot ½-MOA groups or better, with many groups measuring just 1/3-MOA, with factory ammo.

The new SIG Cross Magnum is designed in the image of its precursor but has some alterations I enjoy, such as an integrated ARCA rail in the forend, safety that doubles as a thumb-shelf, vertical grip, and comes standard with a muzzle brake.

Bergara’s MgLite is a lightweight, accurate, and reliable hunting platform that utilizes some uncommon materials to achieve this result. Even though this rifle weighs pounds less than its competition, Bergara managed to incorporate many features that may make this rifle, pound for pound, the best value in its class.
