This is a very lightly used Sig Sauer P229R Compact .40 caliber pistol with 2 x 12-round magazines, night sights (dim), the traditional Double Action / Single Action trigger with de-cocker, an accessory rail for flashlight or laser, the factory Sig P229 grips and a red padded gun pouch. The barrel is 3.9" long, the bore is clean with a mirror finish, no pitting, no rust and light wear. This gun has the short external extractor and almost no holster wear. In general, the Sig P229R is a compact, highly reliable, .40 caliber battle gun used worldwide by many militaries, police and security professionals. It's also excellent throughout America for home security and conceal carry.
This gun is a police trade-in with the typical bumps & wear coming from duty carry, but it shows very light use and is in excellent condition. I'm a factory certified Sig Armorer and I completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected this gun so I know it's mechanically sound. When I test fired this gun, it ran flawlessly. If you want a Sig E2 (ergonomic) grip, a SRT (short reset trigger) or new night sights installed, let me know before shipping. I'm a professional gunsmith and my rates are very reasonable.
This gun is a great shooter with a lot of fire power and considering it was engineered for 50,000 rounds, this gun has a lot of life left in it. It is sold "as is" with no warranty attached. If you're looking for a compact, mechanically sound battle gun, this is it.
If your state doesn't allow 12-round magazines, don't order this gun.
